經濟學典範的挑戰： 為何「極大化總效用」分析架構是「國王新衣」? --- 論Bernardelli在1950年代的感嘆

這篇文章藉由詮釋Bernardelli (1952)對極大化(序數)總效用典範的五項質疑，說明為何Bernardelli (1952)會指謫現今主流的極大化(序數)總效用典範是一種「國王新衣」等級的理論。如果Bernardelli的評斷是真確合理的，那表示經濟學立基於效用概念的正確的選擇理論還未誕生。

The Challenge Facing the Economic Paradigm: Why is the Analytical Framework of ‘Total Utility Maximization’ the Emperor’s New Clothes? —On Bernardelli’s Sigh in 1950

Abstract
This paper illustrates the reason why Bernardelli criticizes the paradigm of total (ordinal) utility maximization as the emperor’s new clothes by interpreting Bernardelli (1952)’s five questions. If Bernardelli’s comments are definitely true and reasonable, it implies that a correct theory which is based on a correct concept of utility was not developed yet.
